Uji Matcha Bubble Tea
Uji Matcha Bubble Tea is one of our favorite summer treats. I start this drink by whisking together the matcha mixture. Then, I shake it up with ice, milk, and Trader Joe’s Instant Brown Sugar Boba Kit packets. We like this drink for several reasons. First of all, I like that making this at home is much more convenient than buying it out. Secondly, I like that I can make this yummy quick treat in just about five minutes. And, finally, we all love the sweet green tea flavors in this drink.
The Equipment I Used
- A Microwave- I used this to defrost my boba kits.
- Jars with Lids- The jars make it so easy to shake everything together.
- An Instant Read Thermometer- Use this to make sure your water is at the correct temperature to blend with the matcha.
The Ingredients Needed for Uji Matcha Bubble Tea
- Matcha- I used Zen Tea Leaf Uji Matcha Green Tea. It’s hands down the best matcha I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it.
- Trader Joe’s Instant Brown Sugar Boba Kit- You can find this in the freezer case at Trader Joe’s.
- Milk- I used whole milk, but you can use any kind of milk that you like. I think oat milk would be really great in this drink.
How I Made my Matcha Boba
- First, I mixed the matcha powder with the water. You want to be sure that the mixture is very well mixed. And you can save this mixture overnight in the refrigerator.
- Next, I added the brown sugar boba mixture to the jars.
- Then, I poured in the ice and milk.
- Finally, I added the matcha and shook up each jar. Be sure to shake the jars up well.
If you like matcha, you need to try this delicious and refreshing Uji Matcha Bubble Tea.
