- 1 pound Rastelli's organic ground dark meat turkey
- 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup minced onion
For the Burger Toppings:
- 4 brioche buns
- 1 cup baby arugula
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 slices red onion
- 4 slices cheddar cheese or Yancys Fancy Buffalo Hot Wing Sauce NY Cheddar Cheese
For the Buffalo Sauce:
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp. hot sauce
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp. honey
Begin by making the Buffalo Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter, on low heat. Then, stir in the rest of the ingredients. Remove from the heat. Cover to keep warm.
Next, prepare the turkey burgers: mix the turkey with the blue cheese, onion, and a quarter cup for the Buffalo sauce. Form this mixture into four patties and cook them on medium heat in a nonstick skillet. Cook them until they are 165° inside. Brush them on both sides with the Buffalo sauce. Melt the cheese on top of each patty. Grill the buns and put the burgers on them.
To assemble the sandwiches, add the arugula, tomatoes, and red onion.
