Blue Cheese Buffalo-Turkey Burgers

Blue Cheese Buffalo-Turkey Burgers

Blue Cheese Buffalo-Turkey Burgers are one of our favorite burger dinners. These sandwiches begin with a blue cheese-infused turkey burger. Then, the burger is dipped in a sweet and spicy Buffalo sauce. Next, it’s topped with cheese, arugula, onion, and tomato. Finally, the whole thing is on a buttery, brioche bun. I really like making these burgers at home, versus having them at a restaurant. Because I know that my turkey will be not undercooked and not overcooked. And I like being able to control the heat of the Buffalo sauce.

THE EQUIPMENT I USED

  • A Meat Thermometer- Use a meat thermometer to make sure the turkey is the right temperature.

THE INGREDIENTS I USED FOR MY BLUE CHEESE BUFFALO-TURKEY BURGERS

  • Turkey- I used the organic ground dark meat turkey from Rastelli’s
  • Cheese- You’ll need blue cheese to mix into the turkey meat for these Blue-Cheese Buffalo Turkey Burgers. You’ll also need cheddar cheese or Buffalo Wing Hot Sauce cheese.
  • Hot Sauce- I used Frank’s hot sauce.
  • Ketchup- I like Heinz’s Organic.
  • Honey- I like to add honey to my Buffalo sauce. I think it adds a nice sweet taste.
  • Brioche Buns- These are my favorite buns, but you could use any bun or roll that you like.

HOW I MADE MY BLUE CHEESE TURKEY BURGER RECIPE

  • First, I made the Buffalo sauce. Watch this closely to make sure it does not burn.
  • Next, I mixed together the ground turkey and blue cheese for my Blue Cheese Buffalo-Turkey Burgers.
  • Then, I grilled the brioche buns.
  • Then, I cooked the burgers. I used a nonstick pan to cook this blue cheese turkey burger recipe.
  • Finally, I assembled the burgers.

This was a very fun dinner to make. If you like blue cheese, I hope you’ll try these delicious Blue Cheese Buffalo-Turkey Burgers.
